What guests usually want to know before a head spa or an Ultra Cold T33 treatment. Choose a service below to see its questions.
A head spa is a relaxing, scalp-focused treatment designed to deeply cleanse the scalp, remove buildup, support a healthy scalp environment, and improve the overall condition of the hair and scalp. Treatments may include scalp analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, massage, conditioning, and customized scalp care based on your individual needs.
Head spa treatments can be beneficial for anyone wanting to improve their scalp health, especially those experiencing dryness, oiliness, buildup, flaking, scalp sensitivity, thinning hair, or excessive shedding. They are also a wonderful option for clients who simply want a relaxing, restorative scalp-care experience.
No. Relaxation is a major benefit, but head spa treatments are also focused on scalp health. The goal is to combine a peaceful experience with intentional scalp care.
We’re currently only able to accommodate female patients. That said, head spa and scalp-care treatments can benefit both women and men dealing with scalp buildup, dryness, oiliness, thinning hair, or other scalp concerns.
No. In most cases, arriving with your hair and scalp in their normal condition allows us to better evaluate your scalp and customize your treatment.
Yes, in many cases. Your treatment can be adjusted around your extensions and attachment method. However, to get the most out of your treatment, it’s best to have a head spa done in between removal and re-installation. Be sure to let us know what type of extensions you have when booking so your service can be customized appropriately.
Yes. Treatments can generally be customized for color-treated hair. Please let us know about any recent chemical services, hair color, or scalp treatments before your appointment.
Your treatment may include a scalp consultation or analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, scalp massage, targeted scalp treatments, shampooing, conditioning, and other services depending on the treatment selected. Each experience is designed to support both scalp health and relaxation.
Yes. Scalp analysis helps identify visible concerns such as buildup, excess oil, dryness, flaking, irritation, or other conditions that may affect the health of the scalp and hair.
A head spa can help create a healthier scalp environment by removing buildup, improving scalp hygiene, and supporting proper scalp care. While a head spa does not cure medical causes of hair loss, healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp, and scalp treatments can be an important part of a comprehensive hair and scalp care routine.
A head spa may help remove buildup and visible flaking while supporting better scalp hygiene. However, persistent or severe dandruff, irritation, sores, or suspected scalp conditions may require evaluation by a dermatologist or medical provider.
Scalp analysis can help identify visible signs and concerns, but it does not replace a medical diagnosis. If your symptoms suggest a medical condition or require additional evaluation, you may be encouraged to see a dermatologist, physician, or other qualified medical provider.
Your scalp should feel cleaner, refreshed, and lighter, and your hair may feel softer and more manageable. Results vary depending on your scalp condition, hair type, home-care routine, and the concerns being addressed.
Some clients notice an immediate difference in how their scalp feels after one treatment, especially when buildup is present. Ongoing or chronic scalp concerns usually require consistency, proper home care, and sometimes multiple treatments.
For general scalp maintenance, many clients benefit from treatments every 6–8 weeks. Clients dealing with significant buildup, excessive oil, dryness, shedding, or other scalp concerns may benefit from a more customized treatment schedule.
Home care depends on your specific scalp and hair needs. Product recommendations may be provided after your treatment to help maintain your results and support a healthier scalp between appointments.
Ultra Cold T33 is an advanced Jet Plasma treatment designed to support skin and scalp rejuvenation using plasma technology. Treatments can be performed on areas such as the face, neck, and scalp depending on your goals.
Jet Plasma uses plasma energy delivered above the surface of the skin to support rejuvenation without traditional needles or surgical procedures. It is commonly used in aesthetic treatments for the appearance of skin quality and may also be incorporated into scalp-care programs to help with thinning concerns.
Unlike a traditional facial that primarily focuses on cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and surface-level skin care, Ultra Cold T33 uses plasma technology as part of a more advanced rejuvenation treatment.
Ultra Cold T33 may be used to support improvements in the appearance of skin texture, tone, firmness, fine lines, and overall skin quality. Scalp treatments may also be used as part of a program focused on supporting the scalp environment and the appearance of fuller, healthier-looking hair.
Treatment areas may include the face, neck, scalp, and other areas depending on your goals and whether the treatment is appropriate for you.
Candidates may include clients wanting to improve the appearance of their skin, support scalp health, or address concerns such as visible aging or thinning hair. A consultation helps determine whether the treatment is appropriate for your individual needs.
Certain medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, active infections, skin conditions, or other contraindications may affect whether treatment is appropriate. A health history and informed-consent review is required to be completed before treatment.
A consultation is required so your concerns, goals, health history, and treatment expectations can be reviewed and an appropriate treatment plan can be created. Consultation fees are applied to the treatment series total.
Ultra Cold T33 scalp treatments are designed to support scalp health and may be incorporated into a hair-thinning or scalp-care program. Hair loss can have many causes, however, so results vary and treatment is not a substitute for diagnosing or treating an underlying medical condition.
The treatment is performed across targeted areas of the scalp using the Ultra Cold T33 device. Your scalp may first be evaluated to determine areas of concern, and professional scalp products or serums may also be incorporated into your treatment plan.
Ultra Cold T33 is an aesthetic and scalp-care treatment and is not a medical diagnosis or cure for hair-loss disorders. Sudden, severe, unexplained, or patchy hair loss should be evaluated by a qualified medical provider.
Yes, depending on your scalp condition and treatment plan. Head spa treatments and Ultra Cold T33 can serve different purposes within a broader scalp-care routine, and the timing of services can be customized to your needs.
That depends on what is happening with your scalp and hair. A scalp analysis is the best starting point. From there, we can determine whether you would benefit from professional scalp care, head spa treatments, Ultra Cold T33 scalp treatments, home-care recommendations, or referral to a medical provider for further evaluation.
Arrive with the treatment area clean and avoid applying unnecessary products. Additional preparation instructions may be provided when your appointment is booked. If you have makeup on, we will thoroughly cleanse your skin before the treatment.
Most clients find the treatment very tolerable. Ultra Cold T33 is non-surgical and does not involve the same type of treatment experience as procedures that use traditional needles. We are also able to numb the skin to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.
Appointment length depends on the area being treated and whether the service includes consultation, scalp analysis, skin preparation, or additional products and services. Generally, treatments take between 1–2 hours.
Yes. Professional products may be incorporated into your treatment plan when appropriate to complement your skin or scalp goals. We primarily use NeoGenesis products because they use stem cell technology to further enhance your results.
One of the benefits of Jet Plasma treatments is that downtime is generally minimal. Individual responses vary, and you will receive specific aftercare instructions based on the treatment performed.
Follow the aftercare instructions provided at your appointment, including any recommendations regarding skincare, scalp products, sun exposure, heat, exercise, or other activities.
A series of treatments is generally recommended for clients seeking more significant or progressive results. Your treatment plan will depend on your goals, starting condition, and how your skin or scalp responds. Most clients benefit from 4–6 treatments in a series and follow up with maintenance appointments a couple times a year.
Treatment frequency varies depending on the area being treated and your customized treatment plan. A recommended schedule will be discussed during your consultation. On average, every 2 weeks during a series of treatments is a realistic expectation.
Some clients may notice changes in the appearance or feel of their skin relatively quickly, while other improvements may develop gradually throughout a treatment series. Scalp and hair-related goals generally require consistency and patience because hair growth occurs in cycles. You will typically see peak results around 12–16 weeks.
Results are not considered permanent. Aging, hormones, lifestyle, sun exposure, scalp health, and other factors continue to affect the skin and hair over time. Maintenance treatments or series may be recommended.
We’ll look at your scalp together, talk through what you’re noticing, and build a plan that fits your hair, your goals, and your routine.
Book your scalp analysis Still have a question? Reach out and we’ll walk you through it.I had the scalp facial recently and it was amazing! The scrub was very invigorating and Rachel used her hands as well as a couple of other tools throughout the process to massage my scalp. The calm music, low lighting, and a eye mask made for a very relaxing experience as did the waterfall and steam treatment. She also did a hand mask/massage which was a real treat. I will be doing this again and adding the facial as well. I highly recommend this spa!
